Characters have been talked of. All I can say is "YOUNG Yangus? Really?"
>> No. 233
Yeah young Yangus is kinda weird. Also no DQ7 representation really...kinda surprised they didn't use Keifer now that I think about it.

Nintendo's side is definitely lacking in the females department, maybe they should throw in Syrup or Pauline, or some Warioware girls.

Mom has this now, so sometime I shall be giving it a try.

So, yeah, this is coming out.

I'm thinking of getting the $70 bundle. I don't usually buy games when they just come out, but the game's going to be $50 for the next five years or so (Nintendo only recently lowered the price of Twilight Princess), and I'd like to have a WiiMote with built-in Motion Plus, instead of the add-on that plugs into the bottom of the remote. It makes the remote feel bulky.

It's gotten ridiculously good reviews, which is to be expected, it's a fucking Zelda game! We've been waiting years for it, and now it's finally upon us (almost).
>> No. 238
Shoulda gotten the Gamecube version of TP. I got that for like 13 USD. Worst Zelda game I had played yet, as far as story, environment and characters go, but it wasn't bad for the price I payed.

Haven't played SS yet, but I hear it's good from reviewers. That's not to say that it is in fact good, but to hear that it doesn't follow the exact same formula that LoZ has followed since A Link to the Past; Although I think Wind Waker is my favorite 3d Zelda game by far that went off the extensively beaten path.
>> No. 241
I should have pre-ordered this bundle shit. I can't find it anywhere now :(. Every Zelda game I have gotten on release day since Ocarina and this one I don't because my Wii is collecting dust and I have a shiny new gaming pc. Figures.

Thread for discussion about this company, and their games.

I love Bit.Trip, and Alex Neuse. He is one of those developers that you love to hear from, and you know he does his best to make good games that he likes, most importantly.

These games are some of my favourite of this generation and Gaijin does a great job satisfying this side of my gaming needs.

Large low goes.

At this point it's puzzling as to which is superior - "the" one to have: Saga or Complete? In any case, it's very exciting and I'll probably buy both anyway. Now I'm sort of glad I didn't buy 3-6 on WiiWare. Let's crunch some numbers for fun:
1-3 on WiiWare: 6$ apiece
4-6 on WiiWare: 8$ apiece

1-6 on WiiWare: $42.00 total (no tax)

3DS game: 40$
Wii game: 20-50$

This was really interesting to watch, thanks. So COMPLETE is the best of the two, then.
Incase anyone happens to care, the video has spoilers about story imopinion. I had no idea about the stuff he explained.

so, I got this for christmas. i'm about 20 hours in now, having alot of fun with it. i was skeptical about the classic controller (and have been since the wii first came out) but i must say, I couldn't imagine playing MH3 without it. it really just works. also it is very comfy and light, and came free with the game. so why the fuck not.

currently doing 3-star quests, now i have a choice of capturing a royal lud or going to kill a gobul. as a first time MH player, i have to say once you get over the initial "wtf is going on?" in the first hour or so, forging, gathering, hunting, capturing all become second nature.

not that there arent afew little annoyances - kind of annoying trying to grind for items that are placed seemingly at random, ie. spider webs from butterflies.. also a little annoying that in Moga Woods you can be attacked by pretty much anything while trying to collect fucking honey. I also think it would have been nice if it told you where items could be found (narrow it down to a certain level, at least!) so you had some idea, especially with the random placings of drops like i mentioned before. I spent ages looking for gluehoppers before.

Anyway, seems like a fun game that i can sink alot of time on. I haven't tried playing online yet either. When do you recommend giving it a try? that is, when should I be good enough to not be a liability online?

Reading that thread really makes me never want to play the game. It sounds like the gameplay is simple and unrefined and, in some cases, just plain bad, and the story doesn't make up for it at all, since it's shitty writing and turns its back on everything said about Samus in the past.

I might try to rent the game or borrow it from a friend or get it for real cheap, but I'd never pay more than $10 for it.

Seriously, how did suddenly switching from third-person to first-person, and being unable to move, during a fight sound like a good idea to them?
>> No. 155
why does samus sprint everywhere faster than usain bolt? it makes footage of the game so distracting to watch

I went over to a friend's recently and sat down and played this until it was beaten, mainly just so I could experience it. I recommend doing so, or just getting it later when it gets a price drop.

I love Muscle March. It's sooooo stupid... But also hilarious dumb fun. My arms actually hurt after playing arcade mode. It's the final mad rush to catch the thieves that stole the protein shake that does it. First game I've ever played that actually fooled me into exercising.

“Muscle March is certainly a very unusual game, but please, shed those clothes, and play my games in the nude.”
http://tinycartridge.com/post/2433263223/muscle-march-is-certainly-a-very-unusual-game-but
Watch the documentary too, it features the Muscle March producer, and Keita Takahashi - creator of Katamari Damacy.

I bought this when it came out. The controls are a bit difficult because of the inaccuracy of the plain Wiimote, so it becomes even more challenging - I wish it had been released as a MotionPlus title. I've only played it a few times, and became frustrated because of the controls. That said, it's fun and crazy, and I'll play it now and then. I wonder if the different characters are purely cosmetic, or if choosing different ones affects gameplay?
>> No. 172
>>171
Yeah, I watched that before I saw this post, and was going to make a thread about the game.

The controls are something I keep hearing as a flaw and that really makes me sad, because I wanted this game to be great so bad. In any case, I still want to experience it, and by that I mean in the nude.

This game worth buying? I've seen it for $20. Thing is I just bought/played through both pikmin games about 2 months ago. Will it just be more of the same? or worthy of my time/money?

so, anyway. I bought it. Played about 7 hours, pretty fun so far. getting a tad repetetive though.

dude, there is a class in this game whose sole purpose is to one-hit kill chickens - otherwise powerful beasts which take a fair bit of effort to take out - reduced to gourmet meals in the blink of an eye.

that's right. their only purpose is to kill chickens. this game is awesome.

also, don't expect to have decent ping with me, I'm in australia, the one country on earth that thinks the internet is a bad idea. although that doesn't seem to have much effect on MK, it's sometimes a game breaker in SSB
